The optional accessory for solar observation: you can observe the sun safely. Fit to 36.4mm Visual Back. Adaptable to Many Telescopes
The StarGuider Sun Projection Screen 150 allows you to get a larger view of an eclipse or other solar observation than you would through the StarGuider Sun Projection a 150mm (6") solar image.
The view of the sun, projected 16.5" (41cm) straight from the visual back, appears on the metal plate where it can be safely viewed by a group.
The screen can hit the ground in some cases of shorter tripods, longer optical tubes, and a high solar position, so be mindful of this.
Note! Caution: Never look directly at the Sun
- You can easily and safely see incredible detail of sunspots reflected off the screen
